My name is Sevdalin Minchev and I am the owner of Plavai.BG.

To me sailing is the key to the exit door of the matrix cage. It is the acupuncture map of our innermost desires. A boat. Sun. Sea. Friends. Good food. The freedom to be yourself. Strangely, simple life adds some complexity to existence and quickly smoothens the sharp edges urban habitat. Happiness abhors vacuum. And, once you’re on board, you realize freedom abhors land.

Each sailing experience helps me claim myself back to me. Rediscover friends and business partners beyond urban flash lights. Because, unlike the in theatre of land, no actors are allowed on the stage on-board. Once you get on the boat, you take off your shoes together with any role you play while in them. A bathing suit is the only permitted one, and sea life disrobes you of any superfluous pomposity. On board, solemnity is devoid of its grandeur, and the mundane is even more ridiculous than Truth.

Sailing has taught me that it is up to us to choose the future course of our lives, so I wish everybody to have tailwind in their own course. When at the port you unload all the burdens of daily life, you realize that only the horizon is the limit, and that you will never reach it, no matter how long you sail. You can call yourself a happy man if you have at least a droplet of that sea in your life.

My name is Iliana Ivanova. More than 10 years ago I founded a tourist agency entirely focused on exotic and island destinations. At the same time I started the boat sales business. And now we are at the doorstep of our latest initiative – the chartering of catamarans and yachts. Our idea is to show people a different way of relaxation, by escaping daily routines and standards. Current concepts of active rest are changing, there are no limits to imagination and the desire to sail in the sea is the pinnacle of that evolution. Sea vacation on a catamaran fits this trend more than ever, too – to have a summer villa on the water, to live in the sea at 360 degrees, to move to a new place every day, to be out in the fresh air. To be free to drop anchor in any bay you like, to dive and swim directly from your porch, to be wearing nothing but a bathing suit every day, to eat fresh seafood, to hang out with friends, to live with passion, to live for the moment, and then to leave. There is a difference between those who go on holiday to enjoy the sea from the shore, and those other people to whom vacation means a boat where they feel like they belong, like they have come home. In a glimpse you can recognize a person who has been sailing; their glow will give them away. No, their eyes aren’t lying. What you see in them is emotion. It’s passion, a little madness and the idea of the next sailing trip. Loving the sea from the shore is all right, but being a part of it, on board of your own freedom is something completely next-level.

My name is Ina Ilieva and a large part of my life is sea-related. Both professionally, and emotionally.

As a sailing athlete with more than 20 years of experience, I think it’s only logical and appropriate for me to get involved in a project such as Plavai.BG. I am happy to be able as your consultant to help you rediscover the sea the way I feel it. Because a holiday on a yacht is something completely different, where happiness is not only measured by miles covered or high speed. What we can offer you here is an abundance of salty drops, wind, sails, sailing, swimming, diving, reading, laughing, living for the moment and... afterwards. Living aboard is namely the proof that you’re not overboard! So, instead of just standing on the shore, leaving footsteps in the sand, rent a boat and make a wave that will reach the shore! It will remind those still standing there that living on a boat will wash away the traces of all that’s commonplace! Sailing makes you allergic to Plans and helps you quit your Vices! On board, time is the only currency which is not subject to inflation!

My name is Vladimir Vangelov and I have worked and been part of the PLAVAI.BG concept ever since its beginning!

People may forget your words or your actions, but they will never forget how you made them feel! Ships are safe when in the port, but their purpose is to sail, isn’t that so? Life on land is peaceful, nice and oftentimes boring, but is this really the purpose of Life...

Vladimir Vangelov is a highly qualified skipper with thousands of miles sailed in seas and oceans, mostly in destinations such as Croatia, Greece, Montenegro, Turkey, the Caribbean, etc. He is 47 year old, fluent in English and with rich experience from various F18 competitions and regattas all over Europe, and in particular Bulgaria, Romania, France, and Turkey. His skipper experience includes various types of boats (monohulls – sailing, motor boats and catamarans). Besides, his wonderful personality and perfect communication skills have helped him to be, during the last 3 years, captain of the most luxurious sailing charter catamaran "Carpe Diem” in the Mediterranean and the Caribbean. Meanwhile, during the last seven years, he has been working as a technical director of the Bulgarian dealer of LAGOON and JEANNEAU – MS Yachting, thus having gained all of those additional professional yachting skills required to make your trip as safe, comfortable and pleasant as possible.

Our base manager Ayhan Avci is the heart and soul of the Yacht Club in Fethiye. He is always smiling and friendly. His life is related to boats. After having spent 20 years working in the tourism business, he chose to continue with yachting, specialising in the charter sector.
Ayhan owns several yachts and has over 15 years of experience in yacht chartering in the region of Turkey and Greece. He is the master of maintaining, servicing and managing of charter boats. Ayhan and his team will take care to ensure your unforgettable sailing.
He has friends everywhere along the Turkish coast and the face of your favourite host from Fethiye will come to your mind any time you think of Turkey.

We are lucky to be able, now more than ever, to move freely around the world, visit various places, catch a unique glimpse of various cultures, meet new people, and be able to afford to have fun anywhere.

I, personally, have chosen boats both as a job and as a way of having fun. Because sailing is my way of life. A necessity. Passion. It is my way to remodel myself when I need it. My way to escape my reality. My way to just feel life in all its colours.

I chose Greece because here I have everything I’ve dreamed of –
Sun, Sea, Yachts, Islands, Freedom...SAIL AND LIVE!

Miroslav Georgiev is a person who knows all about yachts and their maintenance. Although his career had started in a different field, here Miro discovered his true vocation. He is known as the wizard who would squeeze water from a stone when it comes to solving any problem with a yacht. He is both our right, and our left hand man in Greece. He is the person who lets us have our own boats without the excessive cost, and for a better profit.

Personally, he is a passionate sailor and sails whenever and wherever he has the chance. His days are spent at the port and in the sea. He will never fail to give you a friendly welcome, to help you with anything so that you can have an incredible sailing.
